I am sure I speak for everyone that participated in saying that I want to thank Stubby and Butzzell and everyone else that had a hand in this, for all the excellent work they did to get FIF flying again. The map seemed to work flawlessly and the ratio of people to map size was just about perfect. How do you guys feel the team balance was? I didn't look at the outset but toward the middle it seemed as though the allies had about a 2 to 1 advantage. I would hate for this to be the case going forward. If this is the case what options do we have to balance the sides? Recruit more folks? Split JG5? Something else? -Hawg Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Klaiber Posted June 19, 2014 Report Share Posted June 19, 2014 (edited) Hi Hawg, We had a great time last night too! Regarding team balance, there was close to a 2 to 1 split for most of the night. We had a few Central stragglers join late, so we never had our full compliment at mission start. I think at mission start it was about 1.6 to 1 (25ish vs 15ish). We're fine fighting at a slight numbers disadvantage. It's historical. But obviously, an extra 5 people would have helped. Next week, JG1 and BH should have a couple more people. But we can always see if we can locate an additional Central squad to take up the slack. One alternate possibility is to open FIF up to freelancers. I'm sure there are a bunch of unsquaded people who would love to participate. What are your thoughts? I would like to think that at some point we might consider opening this up to the entire RoF community, similar to Bloody April.
