Or at least an attempted escort.  Got engaged as lone escort and separated from the recon.  Tried like hell to save him, but there was only so much I could do.  Thankfully I got out of there alive, though not without fighting for it.

Enjoy!

Nice.....you really had good eyes on that N28, once engaged.  It's hard seeing what's going on behind you when you're in avoidance mode.

I really enjoyed your video, Barton! I felt that I could learn a thing or two by watching your aiming and maneuvers. Thank you! :D

BTW, did you use ShadowPlay to record that?

Thanks, guys! Glad you liked it! I use Shadowplay for all of my recordings recently and I've got a couple more recordings I can make videos out of, mostly with CloD but a few more with RoF. Was thinking about resurrecting my "Along for the Ride" "series" that I never really followed up on after seeing HotLeads great hindsight videos.

The first and only "AftR" video I made was in IL-2 1946 and can be seen here:

You shot down CH3, one of my first wingleaders in IL-2: 1946!  Many Spits vs. 109s bombing runs were had with that guy leading me in.

CH3 was a good pilot I had a lot of fights with. I've lost a few (dozen) planes to him over the years.
