Manfred Barton, Jasta 4 (posthumously, session #9, 13 August 2016), for conspicuous personal bravery on the battlefield or, more frequently in the case of officers of higher rank, for merit in positions of great responsibility [awe-inspiring streak: 30 air victories and 1 wounded-in-actions, over 26 sorties]. Bavarian Merit 4th Class Hptm. Manfred Barton, Jasta 4 (posthumously, session #9, 13 August 2016), for bravery and merit, beyond the call of duty. [For inspiring JG1 to fly harder and do better]. OffzSt. Martin Weiss, Jasta 6 (session #9, 13 August 2016), for bravery and merit, beyond the call of duty. [For exceptional service towards the Flanders In Flames campaign]. German Army Report OffzSt. Anton Rotermann, Jasta 11, for gallantry in battle, but also extraordinary fidelity and essential service.
