S! All

Satellite is an 1956 just on the edge of space movie.  The opening scene is a Vulcan take off. Very impressive. The "Space ship" looks like Fireball XL-5.

There is a scene with a lovely small jet. Very good shots of take off and flying. Anyone know this plane?

Found it.  Folland Midge - prototype for production plane, Folland Gnat

Well that must have taken some research....where'd you find it?  Book you have?  Whatever the source, great work!    :)

Hi,

I started checking the movie instead of planes. There were pictures from the movie and some pictures of the plane. One of the pictures had the name of the plane. I then looked that up.
