FIF 2018 Registration

Recommended Posts

Hi PikeStance,

Jasta 2 is currently on the Blue Team.  So, I'll sign you up for their side.  The Blue Team uses Jasta 5's TeamSpeak information, which can be found within the private Blue Team area of the FIF boards.  You should now have access to that area.  If you have any problems coordinating with the Blue Team, send a PM to J5_Gamecock.

Missions are run on Saturdays at 2PM EST / 7PM UTC.  The server is passworded.  The server password is handed out before the missions through TeamSpeak.  It's often recommended that people join about 15 or 20 minutes before mission start.

Also, both teams switch sides periodically throughout the event.  So you'll have the chance to fly for both the Central side and the Entente side.  :)

Should you have any questions, just let me know!

EST (GMT +5)

Hi Hells Angel,

The last mission for this current Phase of FIF has just ended.  We're going to take a few months off.

But!  We should be back after the Bloody April event, hosted by Jasta 5.

I'll sign you up to the Red Team.  You should now have access to the Red Team's area on these boards.

The Red Team meets on JG1's TeamSpeak.  You'll find this address in the Red Team area.  On mission days, we recommend that everyone arrive about 15 to 20 minutes early.  The server password is passed out via TeamSpeak.

Before the next Phase begins, there may be a few test missions flown.  This will be an excellent opportunity to test the waters before everything goes live.  Look for us in mid-May!  In the meantime, keep checking back.

   Roger!

Where do I look to see when the test missions are flown?  Would very much like as you say"test the waters" before we begin in earnest.

Thanks for the prompt response and look forward to flying with the JG1 side.

It depends.  The bulk email I send out when announcing news updates only goes to the registered pilots who have agreed to receive emails from the JG1 forum.  When they registered to the forums, it's a setting you can switch on or off.

If they chose not to receive bulk emails from the JG1 forum, I try and respect their wishes.  But... it means that they're not going to get the information when I send it.  And thus, may miss things.

It's one of the reason I ask people to spread the word, and let me know if someone didn't get the email, but wants to.

There aren't a lot of them, but sir Klaiber usually sends out messages pertaining to the start of a new FiF campaign.  If you didn't recently get one pertaining to FiF 2018 Spring campaign, you're not on the list, whether it's because of your email message preferences, or some other reason.

In any case, show up for the test session tomorrow, Saturday, May 5, if able.

I actually have no idea if I have been getting them or not. I definitely would like to change it if I am not!

Hi Shade, you weren't getting the messages, so I've just turned it on in your account.  You should get them now. :)

If anyone else isn't getting the FIF emails, and would like to, just let me know.

Hi Shtahel,

Sorry for only getting to this now.  You're cleared for the Blue Team.

You should now have access to the Blue Team's area.  The TeamSpeak they use is Jasta 5's.  There should be a post with their information.

Should you have any questions, just let me know.

Welcome!
