Welcome, glad to see you decided to join.  Our Commander will be along soon to start the process.  By the way, I did leave a comment on your question on the BoX forum

Thanks for the very warm welcome everybody! I am very excited to be a part of all this here with JG1. It'll be a ton of fun I can tell.

Of course! We can work on that right after I get through all the initiation stuff!

Additionally, I encourage everyone to refer to me as "Shade". It's easier and quicker than Shadepiece in full. Shadepiece is a moniker I've used for a VERY long time, and it's unique enough to not be taken wherever I register, and I intend to keep it in a official capacity however, most guys just call me " Shade" during flight or conversation.

@Smolders: If you are also available during your daytimes you might find some of us european players online to fly in BoX. Well, I am not the one who can learn you anything beside the basics there, but others are much more experienced and so far every JG1-member I flew together with always was willing and happy to support me in every aspect (no matter if in BoX or in RoF, also at times before I was a member of this squad)

;)

...well, during the last weeks my online appearence was rather reduced because of vacation and various real life stuff, but I hope there will be (at least a little) more time available soon...

Shady,

So RoF with JG1 and ACG for WWII? Are you doing DCS? We have some Campaign design coming up that a conduit with ACG would be worthwhile.

S!

Interesting! There a lot of big fans of DCS in ACG. Our cold war server has really kind of taken off, but I don't fly the big burny engine type darts.

I do enjoy the 51 and the German birds quite a bit, but I have not flown any of it much.

If you are referring to jets I'd more than happily liaise between JG1 and ACG. Actually, for any matter that might want to be discussed I'd happily be the middle man.

Glad to have you Shade. The filthy Frogs and the Amis are increasingly active in our sectors. More men means more guns. More guns means victory. Prost!
