FIF 2019 "Winter Campaign" is a completely fictitious event with little historical precedent. The Rise of Flight Channel Map is used. Specifically, the combat zones around Dover, Ramsgate, Canterbury, Maidstone, and Sittingbourne.
This is the region south east of the Thames Estuary. Butzzell has said that, despite it's odd location, this is a very traditional map. However, the core idea has been to provide a great location for the use of early aircraft and float planes.
The Central Powers are in the East, having just crossed the channel in a unexpected land invasion of England. The Entente Powers are in the West, defending the counties of Kent, East Sussex and Surrey.
Two-seater bases are underlined in yellow. Hospitals are underlined in light green.
For more information on what has changed on the map since the last FIF campaign, please see the posts which deal directly with the FIF 2019 "Winter Campaign" Objectives and FIF 2019 Rules Modifications.
