Lupus Posted April 15, 2012 Report Share Posted April 15, 2012 Ok, I've been running a DCG campaign with my squad and when we finished the Poland39 campaign, it jumped to France 1940, once we finished that it jumped to Normandy 1941. This order completely skips two chronological campaigns, Finland, 1939, and Britain 1940. So my question is, what determines which campaign starts next when your running a DCG campaign? Note that there are 3 files in the dcg/data folder that have something to do with your campaign: In Allcampaigns.dcg individual battles (scenarios) are specified. You can start a campaign with any of these. You started with Poland39. In Endcampaign.dcg the conditions are specified upon which individual battles should be terminated and your squad transferred to a new map/battle. The new battle is NOT specified here, but in the 3rd file: Grandcampaign.dcg -- here the campaign path is scattered in sections like these: [Poland39 to France40] Blue ... [France40 to Normandy41] Blue ... [Normandy41 to Normandy42] Red ... [Normandy42 to Normandy44] Red ... You started in Poland39, then were transferred to France40, then to Normandy41, and next time you will be transferred to Normany42, etc. If you want to have Finland after Poland and before France, you have to create corresponding sections, e.g. [Poland39 to Finland39] Blue .... [Finland39 to France40] Blue .... Anyway, creating a new path can be rather tricky, you can easily mess up everything. I appreciate your explanation, I did read what documentation I could find. There was no need to get rude about your response however.
