  1. For now, I just give the 'Remove Binoculars' command in 'VA' and it's remove the binoculars. I think that they have tried to make it with the same motion then in real life. At this time, that's not the biggest problem when you call the binoculars... you need to have 'OFF' the take gun command so that you are able to view in front of you! Cheers, GenMarkof
  2. S! Lipfert & All, On my part, I started to use the 'Voice Attack' app and I must say that changing position, opening the Hatch and asking the driver to start engine is done very quickly and without any problem. Also, I am using the Rudder pedal to control my tank (to turn) makes it very simple to drive between trees in forest. And after getting some tips from some of the SCG guys (at yesterday event), I tried last night to drive the tank with my joystick. I must say that pushing the W/A keys for 3 hours, it's not the best way to drive the tank! If all goes well, I will soon have a default Keyboard layout for all orders available to the tank commander (it will be in PDF format - it's done in Illustrator). Cheers, GenMarkof
  3. S! All, JG1 members or any friends of JG1... I'd like to know if any of you that got the Il2 tank game would like to step up and start playing the game online?!! Well, it might be the best time to setup your key mapping and to learn some simple move, shooting, and more. Why? Just go and see today post from @Wittmann - ------------- I'll be online tonight (on TS around 8 pm eastern time) doing my Key Mapping and trying to learn the move, halt, get in the gunner seat, shooting and adjusting the gun sight,... choosing the best type of ammo, and more... If lucky, it would be great having @Wittmann or @Lipfert to help us on some basic stuff! All are welcome to join... or to register for the Sunday Event! We do also need some fighter or bomber air support... Cheers, GenMarkof ps: I might try to see if I could do a JG1 skin (adding the JG1 logo and maybe your specific logo, if you have one in .PNG or .SVG format) for most German tanks... that way, we could identify our tank squadron in MP online events.
  4. S! Jaus, The Zip file is not available anymore? Could you post a new ZIP file. I will load your skins and take a look at them. Thanks. GenMarkof
  5. S! All, would be great to have a WW1, WW2 sim game room for those that like to talk about new sim games or looking for other players. I might get in my new game U-Boat and I know that we can have multiplayer session in the game. Cheers, GenMarkof ps: I will go and see (tonight) your game in Steam Drunken_Jedi
  6. S! Any news if they did some changes in Flying Circus? Would be nice that they don't forget to do some modifications on the DM. Cheers, GenMarkof - I will try to get online tonight to see what is changed in this new update... but I didn't buy yet BoN!

  8. S! Firefly, Thanks for sharing Firefly... Here are the links to my visit at the Flight Museum of Seattle in 2017! For the new JG1 members... Part 1: Part 2: Part 3: Cheers, GenMarkof
  9. S! All, Had a great time watching this first F1 race of the Year... Like you, I was happy to see many of the underdog of last year near or on the podium! Having a second race next week (in Austria) will make it even better to see if it was luck or if the same pilots will get the same position at the end! I also saw the F2 series (Saturday Race) and it was a blast seeing the (3) three cars in front changing position until the last lap. Happy to see F1 back, even for a short season... I love racing! Cheers' GenMarkof
  10. S! Congrats to all... I should have new DCS planes soon and maybe come and do some of those event. Cheers, GenMarkof

  12. S! Ted, Let me know if you want the JG1 Racing Team Logo in PNG, SVG or any format that you would like. On my part, I work with the SVG format and in Photoshop, I'm able to change it to any colors that goes well with the skin colors. I didn't see the mojito mix... but it's my prefer drink! 😜 Cheers, GenMarkof
  13. S! All, On a day off, what better then taking a few hours on my next ride for the Indy Car 2020 Series - with the JG1 Racing Team! Still looking at some stuff, but I like this new paint job. Cheers, GenMarkof ps: with only one paint skin, it fits for all Indy Car - Road, Oval, small Oval and Indy regular.
  14. S! Same for me... I was lucky at an early age to see most of the band starting at that time (INXS, U2, The Cure and many more bands) at McGill University... in a small concert hall that around 200 persons could see the concert! Those were the best day of my life! Cheers, GenMarkof
  15. S! Live Baby Live - 74 000 thousand at Wembley Stadium for INXS... remember 1991!!! Life does go fast! -- The 4K Restoration -- Cheers, GenMarkof --- enjoy!!!
  16. S! Welcome Ted, Happy to have one of the best race sim pilot with JG1! Cheers, GenMarkof
  17. S! @Pragr @Ludwig I do agree with you about the approach and the sight... The main point of a practice for other members that do not bomb from high level most of the time... is to understand how to set up the wind and the way you need to choose the wind to get a better chance when bombing from 3K. On my part, it's always hard to know what I need to do with the 3ms, 330 from 2K or 5K... this is why would be great if you guys could take some time this week to explain. I ask Butzzell to change the FIF map for this week practice so we could have a German 2 seater base on Entente side... that way it would be faster to do a practice on the enemy targets. Hope we can do a small session the night that works the best for you. Cheers, GenMarkof
  18. S! All, If any bomber or even fighter pilots from all squads would like to practice high level bombing with the halberstadt CL2 (2 seater). I'll be online on the FC JG1 server today (Sunday) around 1 pm (eastern time), will go after this to the Fluggpark J5 server for the Sunday event (around 2:30-3 pm). All are welcome... Cheers, GenMarkof ps: @Pragr if you have time this week, might need a bit of your knowledge on how to get better chance hitting targets at 3K or above, thx!
  19. S! Jaus, No, but that could be a great event to meet up for those that can make it! I know that a few years ago, many virtual pilot did meet up at that event. Cheers, GenMarkof
  20. S! All, For those like me that love the Airco DH2... a short trailer of a real life flight made on the 11th, November 2011! The Airco DH2 based at Wickenby Airfield, is an authentic replica of the WW1 fighter biplane that rose to fame during the Battle of the Somme, between July and November 1916. Led by Major Lanoe Hawker of 24 RFC Squadron, the DH2 reclaimed the skies of the Western Front, and ended the reign of Germany's Fokker Eindecker. Wickenby's Replica is painted in the military colours of Hawker's aircraft, which inspired 24 RAF Squadron to invite the DH2 team to fly over the unveiling of a new memorial to Hawker in France, on 11th November 2011. Cheers, GenMarkof ps: would love to see this plane in Flying Circus Vol. 2!
  21. S! Congrats to all! Special congrats to my wingman BernTeas! Was very happy to fly with you defending our targets!. Cheers, GenMarkof
  22. S! @Joker_BR Thanks for your vote, but Spring Flanders in Flames (with FC) is started since last Saturday. Hope you can join up for the next sessions. Cheers, GenMarkof
  23. S! All, Don't know if you know this - Easy Mission Generator by Syndicate... But pretty easy to use and make yourself some COOP missions for all Great Battles & Flying Circus, Enjoy! Please find full details and downloads on this page: IL2 Great Battles Easy Mission Generator And for instructions: https://sites.google.com/view/il2-great-battles-emg/tips-tricks?authuser=0 ----------------- What is it? A utility that will let you generate single, cooperative and even dogfight missions for the wonderful IL2 combat flight sim. For cooperative missions it provides coops slots for one side only (PvE) or both sides (PvP). Besides the configuration options there will be both enemy and friendly bomber & patrol flights, vehicle columns, ships, AAA, cloud patterns etc, which will all be randomly chosen. What is it not? A dynamic (single player/MP) campaign generator. These have already been developed by others. The underlying generator will not track planes/pilots/resources etc over time, although it possible to create multiple missions and run them in chronological order, with airfields and lines changing over time. ----------------- Have fun! Cheers, GenMarkof
