    Beta 11 refines the upgrade/downgrade of aircraft so nationality plays a bigger role in selection.  The class file should now be able to contain multiple entries for the same aircraft but with different "long names" and nationalities.

    He mentions he is using the BAT mod from Special Aircraft Service. It is huge and I have no idea what they changed with it?
    Not sure if this may help but something I ran into quite often with dogfight missions is to have two instances of yourself in the game at the same time when you bailed out. If you bail out high enough and close to a HomeBase you can actually watch the previous parachute version of yourself land from the cockpit of your current aircraft. Once in awhile I was even able to get respawned, takeoff, and then buzz the previous version of myself hanging in the parachute. The game despawns your aircraft when you hit refly but not the parachute version of you which the log file keeps tracking. Makes for some screwy debriefs when it shows you were captured and landed safely or died and landed safely, etc.
        By using the same aircraft for both flights it made it difficult for me to know what was happening but once I used two different types of aircraft it became obvious what had happened.     Wheels

    Honestly I don't remember. Maybe 500 hours... 400 at least.
    The Slovakia map is one of the most beautiful of the vanilla version of IL2...

    Hi Sir,
    About the 15 minutes to generate a mission,
    from my own campaign using the map Slovakia:
    1857 locations in the locations.dcg file,
    5658 static objects in the stationary.dcg file
    2346 roads in the rds file
    93 moving objexts in the columns.dcg file
    I think that il2dcg.exe have to loop a few time to generate a mission... 🙄

    Because you can't define where a dead unit respawns, there's no way to avoid this problem.  Sorry.

    I haven't been "Kaboomed" yet,
    But what I can say is that since the ground columns are under a more realistic aerial protection, it's more difficult to destroy them.
    And that's a good thing.

    Sometimes AIs are unable to take-off from some airfields. Even with the lighter payload.
    So, we can create an airfields.dcg file to reduce the losses at take-off.
    But, it can be not enough.

    Can we have available a file like airfieldsrestriction.dcg in wich the listed planes can't be transferred (linked) to the concerned airfields.

    DCG campaigns using the Tobruk map (for example) are playable without the friction option but so difficult than even some AIs (all AIs are average in my own DCG campaigns) crash at take off...
    I think that with the right friction setting it'll be more realistic.

    For me, Günther, is correctly displayed, using DCG 4.13b09 and a de_names.dat file of 500 names.
    500 aces of Luftwaffe sorted by kills ( decreasing score, so Erich Hartmann is the first one )
