  1. Yeah they're genuinely fantastic. I really love learning about the trade/economic agreements between various nations that lead to certain countries ending up with certain arms. It puts WWI into a fantastic perspective.
  2. Nothing like some C&Rsenal! 2 Hour long History lectures disguised as firearms content!
  3. Sorry for being absent everybody. I'm still really struggling with how fluid my schedule is due to contracting; attempting to find a balance so I can attend 100% for certain and not say "Yeah I'll be there" then have to miss last minute is difficult and frustrating.
  4. Updating myself now - see you guys later tonight for practice.
  5. Salutations! Thank you very much for sharing, this all looks like good stuff! Will have to see how this goes at some point when I fly Great Battles next.
  6. I am not a fan of the proposed layout, but if any racing series can produce good close racing on any Layout - it's Indycar. So hopefully they manage to not have a processional race, fingers crossed!
  7. Listening to some of the old cats today . . .
  8. Holy crap Saggle, you don't have to do that, thanks a million!
  9. Salutations squadron! This is what I managed to get from when we rolled all 8 of the squadron pilots in a line a week or two ago on Combat Box! Sorry if my view isn't too spectacular!
  10. Let me know if I'm not allowed to post here and I'll remove right away! Reserving a spot for when my Stream highlights go live tomorrow, I was doing DISGUSTING amounts of fuel saving to try and not stop twice! Link will go live at Noon CST 9/16/20 : https://youtu.be/lZOh34tZgSg
  11. No need to thank me! I got to learn a little bit and the changes were incredibly easy to make once I learned to get around the file encryption!
  12. I know this might be a really dumb question but will we be allowed to Speak English in the main German channel over Comms if we're flying Axis?
  13. Checking on the Modding forum I learn from. Apparently Content Manager has a de-encryption feature, but it's not showing up for me when working on the cars. Will keep looking into it. Edit: I have the files unpacked and I'm working on new league editions now. Will upload when finished as .rar archives so people can just drag and drop them to install. I have left the fuel consumption the way it is to promote multiple strategies/stop amounts based on consumption differences between drivers. The Pit stop times have changed, though. I've reduced the fueling time from 1.7 Sec/L to 0.13 Sec/L in order to reduce the fueling time to within normal parameters of the real life cars. Tire change has also been reduced to 9 seconds. I took these times based off watching the 2019 Indy 500 Pit stop competition for tires and the 2020 In-race stops for fuel. apex_indycar_indy.7z apex_indycar_oval.7z apex_indycar_road.7z apex_indycar_soval.7z
  14. Affirm, I'll start watching some Indy races and timing pit stops today, hopefully will have it by later this week! Edit 3: See post bellow for updated versions - they should be a direct drag-and-drop for those using content manager mod launcher. All skins as of 09/15/2020 installed and fuel/tire change rates corrected!
  15. So me and Scotty (2Old4Forza) were discussing the cars after race and the fueling issue. And we both think that the fueling time - not necessarily the fuel burn - is the issue. Just like with the Legends cars, I can change things like how long the fuel and tires take based on some data from real life race footage if you guys would like me too. For example: Faster fuel fill (closer to time to change tires) would make it so people didn't have to sit in the pit so much, but you could still do either a 2-stop or fuel conserve for a 1-stop strategy depending on the road course. Things like that. I can have this ready by Tuesday to test throughout the week if the organizers are interested in it.
  16. Just a heads up - that's more than a season of Pro Racing in the US would cost from a Rental team if you wanted to do something like Pirelli World Challenge or NASCAR trucks . . . . . Yikes.
  17. These cars wicked fast and don't have a wide grip window. The pace spread is going to be large and the races difficult based on tonight's practice. I'm guessing 1:04-1:05's frontal race pace and 1:06-1:08 for mid pack. Laguna Seca is really short and condensed and super narrow so everybody should just aim to keep it on the black top the whole time; slower and clean is faster than going off.
  18. I've been using external hubs for literally years with no issues until the two ports on one of mine failed just now. Works great, honestly. Edit: make sure you get hubs that are comparable with the USB types you use most commonly, though. USB 3.0 for most modern controllers and peripherals etc. You can plug 2.0 or lower into 3.0 ports but not the other way around, IIRC.
  19. Not enough to leave both the flight sim and racing sim controls hooked up at all times, which is what I normally like to do so I don't have to fuss switching between the two. But I'm only a single port short so it's not that bad.
  20. Coincidentally I just found out today the issue I had with my TrackIR not functioning during the September 8th Evening practice flyout was because two of the Powered-USB 3.0 ports on my Hub for the flight/racing sim have stopped working. One of which had my Button box for car controls and the other which had my TrackIR plugged in previously. That's seriously weird.
  21. I really wish the major races on SRS weren't all at the same time as the practices. @SnaggleWhat would you think about maybe asking Enrique about getting a JG1 or JG1 V. Ted Hough broadcast series so we could collaborate and work around the normal JG-1 practice times at some point?
  22. That's probably for the best considering how basic my flying skills are!
  23. Great! Thanks guys! I'm going to get it downloaded and installed today so hopefully I can fly it out on Thursday. Sorry about my recent inactivity - have been getting swamped in the re-set time between student Cohorts at work with video production tasks etc. I will be on tonight, though, for certain!
