TedsOnMeds
Non-name brand Grape Flavored water mix - Sugar free of course for that artificial goodness. Been trying to drink more water and I find that flavoring a big 2-4 Liter Pitcher helps with that, grape is probably my favorite artificial flavor, too! These ones I find really nice to have on loop when you're doing your flyouts, gets you feeling active and making a face like you've smelled something rotten. I normally try to listen to full albums in score order, even if I don't like/am not feeling certain songs. I think albums are a really good way to experience musical expression as one whole unbroken "story" as a lot of a times these musical albums aren't made in a Vacuum, but rather all at once or focusing on a particular evolution of an artists sound or a certain Mood/story type. Funky-Sound-Bombers by Cassiopea: https://youtu.be/rMBLjtZnOcI Head Hunters by Herbie Handcock: https://youtu.be/3m3qOD-hhrQ The Pinch by Albert King: https://youtu.be/coz3l9AyJLk I agree with listening to albums as a whole for the most part. Now with that said I have an Ipod for my car and I have it on single track random it takes me most of the winter months to get through all the songs this way. For the most part it doesn't bother me to listen to my music this way until I get to Pinkfloyd, Tool, certain Rush albums, NIN's Down the Downward Spiral just to name a few. They loose all their momentum as single tracks. 14 hours ago, Heinrich said: Can we start another thread: What are you guys drinking? Alcohol or Non Alcohol, Coffee, tea whatever. Reason is that right now I enjoy the pleasure of drinking a KBS Espresso stout. Maybe we can find each other in the Untapped App Water, A&W Rootbeer are my go to drinks during the week. I stay away from caffeine for the most part. Yesterday while golfing, I did have a couple Jack Daniels with Coca-cola which is known as a Jack and Coke in the U.S. That is the about the only time I will have caffeine. As far as whisky goes I prefer Scotch and Irish Whiskey. Scotch is very subjective as far as preference goes. Right now I have been drinking Laphroaig Lore and Glenfarclas 17. Irish whiskey you can't go wrong with Green Spot or Read breast. For beer I prefer stouts, porters and Belgian ales. I did have an IPA recently called Zombie Dust that was pretty good. As far as Belgian beers in the U.S. Goose Island is a really good brewery. Also a fan of Bells Brewery, Left Hand, New Belgian and Anchor Steam to name a few. Most of there products are pretty good. Klaiber
My co-worker is a HUGE Nightwish, Wardruna and Heillung fan. We were actually supposed to go see Nightwish. Had tickets and everything. But the venue oversold the concert and we couldn't get in despite having tickets. Yup... it sucked. Nope... never seeing a show there again. Greif
Thought I'd just add my €0.07 Though music tends to distract me while I am working or thinking, I love anything Palestrina as it is like a cool mountain stream trickling through my thoughts. Bach is great as well, especially his fugues. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VBEwP95zNGk&t Other music I can pleasantly bear while working is the requiem of Mozart, especially the Kyrie: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ChRm7XUMPBI When I want music to scream for me when it would be socially awkward if I did it myself, I have all kinds of music. This is an nice example: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H-k_Eg7zXuc I regularly put this on because of the brilliant guitarplay. This is what virtuosity looks like to me. Jeff Healey's version pushes the same buttons. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6SFNW5F8K9Y Especially when cycling, I like to put on a selection of the better EDM to get the energy flowing (NB: I use bone conducting headphones, I see people biking with full on head phones, which seems incredibly dangerous to me): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tKi9Z-f6qX4 I have a soft spot for this one because of its completely over the top caricatured funkyness: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3vBwRfQbXkg Finally, I am responsible for quite a portion of the 4.5 M views on this one. Love it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hqIbEHNqbPs Lipfert and Vonrd
