funkylunk Posted November 1, 2011 Report Posted November 1, 2011 A quick question: Is it possible to tweak the Western Front Bomber Campaign within the DCG to become a level bomber (HE-111) campaign. It currently starts out as a Stuka campaign. If I switch the squadrons aircraft to a HE-111 and start, will the HE-111 simply roll and dive like a stuka during missions? I suppose I could experiment and find out for myself but am currently deployed and don't have access to the game. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks. Quote
Lowengrin Posted November 2, 2011 Report Posted November 2, 2011 Yes, you can just switch it over to the He-111. DCG will create missions specific for it as a level bomber so don't worry, you won't be asked to dive bomb in it. Quote

One more quick question (I apologize), would I be able to utilize the JU-88 for level bombing by changing within the aircraft settings panel to "bomber" instead of "dive bomber" or will the JU-88 still revert to diving? Lowengrin Posted November 3, 2011 Report Posted November 3, 2011 It's more tricky with the Ju-88 as the game treats it as a dive-bomber. With it, I'm afraid you'll just have to experiment. Maybe the mods can trick it into behaving like a level-bomber. Certainly you can set it to a level bomber in DCG so DCG creates missions for it that way; but whether it behaves like one would be anyone's guess. Quote
