November 1, 201510 yr comment_17608 So, I've been playing Command: Modern Air / Naval Operations again recently again and I came across a link to a video (although it's mostly just audio) of a pair of F-14s flying a CAP when they encounter 2 Libyan Mig-23s. It's a pretty interesting listen, and you can really hear the adrenalin of the lead Tomcat pilot as the MiGs close in. November 1, 201510 yr comment_17609 I used to have this on VHS waaaay back in the day, elementary or middle school for me. I had the dogfight dubbed onto a cassette tape and used to listen to in on my Sony Walkman while riding the bus to and from school on some days. Yeah, I'm that old My favorite line: "I can't, I can't. I can't get a f*ing tone!" Report

He got it right after, and that growling tone got my adrenaline pumping! @f0x Well, with DCS the biggest problem right now is being able to pick the d*amn planes up visually! Of course, that's not so much a problem the more modern you go, but still! I need to find some time to get start flying DCS again. Maybe with the release of 1.5 or 2! Report

I heard all of that was fixed with "Edge" is that it? All my DCS time is flying the TF-51D around the patch. Relaxing Report

They've fixed the visual range problem with the 1.5 Open Beta. There is now a toggle in the options area, between Original, Standard and Enhanced. It's really awesome. Report
