It's come to my attention that DCG and AVG Antivirus don't play well together.  After DCG over-writes DGEN or NGEN and then the game tries to generate a new campaign or mission, AVG quarantines DCG in the IL2 folder (in other words, it deletes the DCG renamed as DGEN/NGEN).  In order to stop AVG from quarantining DCG, users will have to set up an exception in AVG for the IL2 folder.

 

This may also be the case with other antivirus programs....
