Lowengrin
Additions to Version 3.50 (Build #1)Due to the issue in the latest IL2 patch (4.14m), the back up of DGen and NGen has been motified so that these files are renamed DGEN_bak.bak and NGEN_bak.bak (from DGEN_bak.exe and NGEN_bak.exe). The change is because unknown .exe files in the main game folder cause the game to abort. As .bak files, they are ignored. Prior to playing a DGen/NGen campaign using DCG, uncheck the option to use them before running the game. Once the game is open, alt+tab out, run DCG and check the option to replace DGEN or NGEN. Uncheck the option when you are done (or before you play again). In other words, this first beta for 3.50 is an imperfect fix for DCG for use with the 4.14m patch. Lowengrin
Additions to Version 3.50 (Build #2) Destroyers will no longer respawn if the "Ships Remain Sunk" option is selected. Ships and columns will no longer revert to generic names if the date is manually set. Further tweaks to air starts including spacing between flights and distance from target. Edit: Removed attachment. Removed respawning of destroyers in build 3.
redwo1f
Just checking - this version is okay with 4.12.2 (I use with BAT) and 4.13.4 (I use with YPack) or only new 4.14? Thanks for the continued work on this great utility! wheelsup_cavu
Lowengrin
It should work with both.

wheelsup_cavu
I know you are keeping things current since your last revision was in April or I wouldn't have brought this up. In your Readme text you still are sending people to your old domain for bug reports. Although IL-2 DCG does all the above and more, it remains a work in progress. Bug reporting, comments and suggestions are welcomed. For the latest news, complete instructions, support, and bug reporting visit http://www.lowengrin.com. For me it is the last paragraph on the first page.Wheels

Lowengrin
Build 3 is now available. It includes tweaks to missions, particularly CAP over ships. Also has further tweaks to Berlin campaign and airfield limits. Added a new TimeTable Command: PriorityLandingSite Armor/Trucks will always unload from ships at a designated priority landing site (only one can be designated per side at any given time). Edit: Removed attachment.

Lowengrin
Build #5 is now available. It fixes an issue with some campaigns in which there are no patrol routes and either no transports exist or the transports are listed after any escorts. For example, the Crimea '41 campaign (and a few other Russian campaigns in the South). wheelsup_cavu
How relevant are these notes in the Installation and Settings Instructions.txt file? Quote Note: FB and AEP users who do not have the Battle over Europe add-on will need to get the USAAF and RAF add-ons from Netwings.org to fly American and British campaigns. They can both be got from Netwings.org. Lowengrin
I suppose they aren't really relevant anymore since most people are probably using the "1946" version. I should just remove those. Thanks!
Sharkzz
G'day there, with the new patch ie: 4.14.1m has fixed a few things that folks were having probs with when the new TD release came out, on reading the docs that came with the new patch, there was mention of your DCG, has this been able to now accept DCG ? I haven't tried yet, as I didn't want to stuff up my copy, () though i have a few patched up vanilla clean copies i keep close by(), there is a folder in the main game folder which has console exe's in it. but i am very unsure what to do with them any ideas would be wanderful ! thanks regrds Sharkzz ps I thought i ought to attach a screen shot of the folder/s i was talking aboot (i can also speak canadian lol) wheelsup_cavu
Lowengrin
Hi Sharkzz, The issue with DCG not working with 4.14m was solved with the 4.14.1 hotfix. See Sita's post here: And unlike Asura's modified DGEN, you don't have to modify the conf file. DCG replacing DGEN behaves as it always did. Lowengrin
Latest beta has some improvements to transports (trains and ships) and some cosmetic changes to the GUI. wheelsup_cavu
I mentioned a few posts back in this thread that the original USAAF and RAF campaign files hosted at Netwings that you reference in the Installation and Settings Instructions.txt file had been lost to time or were only available at the internet archive when it came to the RAF campaign files, which is still true, but I just found updated versions of "the Real Deal" USAAF and RAF campaigns at M4T. I do not know if these would work in place of the original files that were hosted at Netwings all those years ago. Someone who understands DCG and how to use it a lot better than me would need to test them. idefix44
Hi Sir, About: PriorityLandingSite 19410702 PriorityLandingSite Allied = Odessa Used like above it'll work for Odessa_Station, Odessa_Harbor and Odessa_Port? About: TWithdrawl, Aggressor Can we have more explanation on how use them? Have a good day.
Lowengrin
PriorityLandingSite works for Odessa_Harbor only. It's intended for naval landings not just shipping stuff in. TWithdrawl will remove any troops of the designated side at the specified location. Example: 19410724 TWithdraw Allied Bolgrad Aggressor is strictly for air missions. A side that has been made the aggressor will more likely spawn fighter sweeps, fighter-bomber missions or escorts than interceptions or defensive patrols. What DCG users can do with them though is take the skins, pilot photos and sound files and drop them in the appropriate folders for use.
