After a couple practice take-offs and landings I headed over to Wings of Liberty. Got a nasty fright when the Yak and the Ishak turned up! More than anything, I’m amazed I landed the damn thing lol! In reality it was less of a problem as you could move your head more than what is allowed in il2 and you have 2 eyes. I can tell you that that feeling exists even without the armor plate there. You always feel paranoid. And just about the time you start to feel comfortable you get complacent and then you get bounced. And then you're paranoid all over again.
