Spies Posted May 7, 2012 Report Posted May 7, 2012 I just got rudder pedals. My chair is wheeled so when I push the pedals and the chair moves away from the desk, why didn't you warn me about this? Now I understand the difference of turning and applying rudder at the same time, it makes a huge difference. Question, my x-52 is really old, with the rudder/twist locked, I'm still able to twist it a bit to each side, does this happen in all x-52 or is it because mine old and the parts are loose? Quote
Krupinski Posted May 7, 2012 Report Posted May 7, 2012 My chair is wheeled too - I ended up placing a throw rug underneath and loosening the resistance of the pedals as much as possible. All X-52 have that slight twist even when locked, it's just the stick moving to meet the lock. Quote
Britchot Posted May 8, 2012 Report Posted May 8, 2012 I concur with Rabe, my X-52 wiggles a little with the lock engaged. Luckily my wheels get stuck in a groove on my mat and don't have the problem with moving. Honestly, rudder pedals made a huge difference when I bought them. Quote
