Hello

I am trying to get DCG to work. I followed the instructions in the readme. I can get everything set up and I can put 3rd party campaigns in. However, when I generate any campaign, i do not get any waypoints or objectives. I cannot customize aircraft. It is as if the campaign is AI only. I also made sure to replace the DGen with DCG and set the off-line generation option on. How can I fix this and be able to actually fly the planes?

Any help is appreciated!

Thanks for reply!

At first I tried with 4.101 with DBW 1.7. I have seen that SAS post on DCG before and already tried it but it unfortunately didn't help. I then tried with un-modded 4.101 and DCG 4.37 but I still got the same problem. Note: There is no problem with planes blowing up at start as far as I saw. It was simply that I could not fly the plane and all planes were AI controlled. In the briefing I saw no waypoints or objectives on the map.

I tried 3' date='46 with DBW 1.7 and it was the same problem. I have tried the clash of eagles BoB campaign from SAS and tried a solomon islands one from SAS. No luck[/quote']

Hi,

Really strange!

Have you used the XXX.dat files of the Solomons campaign to choose your aircraft or was it your own selection without the files? Perhaps your chosen aircraft were not set to active for the player! You can monitor it in the DCG menue "Aircraft class setting" under "Flyabel by Player(s)"!

I think what Lonestar means is did you look at the files planesXXX.dat where XXX is the nationality and ID of the campaign file. For example, planesDE1.dat is the plane file for Germany's "1" campaign.

If you open the planesXXX.dat file of the nationality that you want to use, it will list all the planes available to the player for that campaign. You can add more if you want so long as you use the correct ID. You can get the plane IDs from the class.dcg file (the first column). Now if you're using a mod and modded planes, the class.dcg file that comes with DCG will probably not have those planes. So you'll have to get a class.dcg (and the related payload files) from somewhere else or add them yourself. (But that's another issue altogether).
