Vonrd Posted September 8, 2021 Report Share Posted September 8, 2021 Fascinating free pdf downloads of a DVIII reproduction (and other planes as well). http://www.collectors-edition.de/f-t-s_buchbestellung_english.htm I was surprised that the wing has no fabric over the plywood skin at all and that the colors are wood stains with marine varnish final coats. The woodgrain shows through and that is modeled in the FC skins. Looks like they got it right (but maybe should actually be more glossy). Good info on the lozenge fabric as well.
