Vonrd Posted June 8, 2022 Report Posted June 8, 2022 It seems many of us don't know how to type multiple lines in a Discord post. As soon as you hit enter, it's posted... you were wanting multiple lines however. Here's how it's done: To type in multiple lines in discord, you have to initially put in three backtics (the Tilde key) then hit Enter. Type as normal... the enter key will make a second line, third line, etc... Once done, put in three more backtics then hit enter. Your post will be multiple lines. Example: ``` Discord can be such a PITA``` (Now hit enter to post) This site explains more about text formatting: https://www.writebots.com/discord-text-formatting/ Klaiber 1 Quote
Klaiber Posted June 9, 2022 Report Posted June 9, 2022 If people need to type another line, they can hit SHIFT and ENTER. On the forums, this makes things single spaced. In Discord, it's a return feature to type a new line. Like a typewriter. Snaggle 1 Quote
