The workaround is fine except for one thing: The pilots names. I replace the romanians and romanians_ru files with the french names but DCG still pick up some romanians names. Seems that is hardcoded or something like this or may be I missed one file?

You're right (of course...) I eventually fixed the issue: One of the road segment was too long; may be too many points or too many bridges, I don't know exactly. I've divided this portion into 2 parts by setting an intermediate bridge as a location and now it works fine. Anyway I don't remember having readen such a limitation in any doc (or maybe I missed it) : A maximum number of waypoints and/or bridges between 2 locations. If this is unknown it should be helpful for others campaign builders to share the information. Cheers.

After editing the rds file I create the campaign manually an ran the column waypoint check tool to eliminate the possible errors. I got a few ones and corrected them easily. Ok. In understand things like this: - For flying planes, I set a fake nationality, ie romania, and change all the romania folders and files to get the french properties, background, speeches and so on. I also change the squadids file to rename the romanian squadrons and in DCG, I set the desired textures and set "no" to the markings checkbox. - For stationnary planes, assuming that the default textures are the right one (and it's the case with most of my planes) I set nationality French in FMB in the "campaign".mis file in order to get the french markings. I think it should work well. Thanks for the help and advices.

Yes I've already thought to that kind of possibles issues or limitation. Anyway no problem with the flying planes textures since I use some available on the net and they have their own markings. However an issue exists maybe with the default textures used, for example, with a stationnary aircraft: I tried to change the allpaints dcg file but it seems not to affect the textures as for a stationnary plane and unfortunately I don't know how to change the default for the stock Il2/DBW planes planes.

As far as I know 3.47 is for unmodded 4.11. Better use 3.46 with DBW 1.71. Wich campaign did you try?

I know that there is probably many wishes but since this thread exits I post mine. Please, please, would it be possible in the future to add some forgotten squadrons/countries? I know that's it's currently hard coded. I thing especially to french squadrons for battle of France. I started a big campaign using the westfront 40 map with DCG 3.46, did the rds, rls, had some headaches to get something working through the Dunkirk pocket of resistance and found that... only "fr01" and "NN" may be used as a unit! Hi! First I would like to thank Paul for this amazing tool. It really enhances the Il2 game. However I experience some trouble I'm unable to fix. I'm trying to build my own campaign according to both Tailpin and Lonestar docs and start with a very simple test one with a few locations and a few units. All is going fine until I try to generate the first mission. Then I always get the warning message : 'Invalid front location. Please select a location using Ground war panel' The problem is since this message is displayed, the ground war panel is unreachable. I rebuilt .mis and . rds files twice with no success. I probably missed something but... what? Maybe some helpful informations: I use DCG 3.46 on an IL2 1946 4.101 modded with DBW 1.71 Manual Mission Generation Mode. I have no trouble with the stock DCG campaigns. Only with the home made one. Columns waypoint check is OK (no problem found).
