One question to better understand how DCG works: if I started a DCG campaign (just the first 3 missions) and then I deleted it and restarted the same campaign form scratch, the campaign will start always exactly with same mission ? in other words, DCG always generate the same missions from the first to the last or every mission when generated have a random component so if I restart a campaign from scratch it will be never be like the previous one ? I ask you that because I made some tests to find an error (at the end I found the problem and the solution) and when I restarted the campaign, the first mission sometimes seemed different (time of the day, or even date)

I did not find any error in your campaigns i was referring to a third party campaign (DCG Carrier Operations)

The fact is that I do not know what should I check for in allpayloads.dcg and in class.dcg ... so i cannot say if there is anything wrong/to change

in the timetable.dcg file there were some wrong lines where there was included a plane that was not required to be installed for the campaign, and removing those lines everything was fine

Hi, where can I find more infos about "payloads.dcg" file ? what's the meaning of the six columns ? and which values I can enter in each column for a specific plane ? And what "none" and "default" means, where do I find which is the payload "default" ? Than in another campaign with a "ground attack" missione I should start with planes (B5N2) with a bomb but in the mission the plane starts without any bomb; that's because in "payloads.dcg" I discovered it has "none". If here i change "none" with 1x500 it starts fine with the bomb, but in the following "ground attack" it still starts without bombs and in the "payloads.dcg" i see that il2 changed again in "none" ... ... so what can I do ? how does "payloads.dcg" work ?? You solved my problem, so a great thank you ! I checked my pilot name and so I noticed that I just defined "callsign" and "last name" but I left empty the "name", and when I filled the "name" too it worked. So now I have a new question to bother you with: in one of the campaign DCG campaign that now I can play, IL2 freezed at the "generate" and on the screen (outside of the game) I had that message (in a box): "IL2 DCG "is not a valid integer value Maybe do you know what it could be ? I noticed a problem with DCG (3.47 on DBW), in the briefing before the missions (any mission in any campaign ...) I see lithe list of the pilots involved in the mission (usually 8 planes so 8 names) but in that list I never see my pilot's name ... and when I start the mission I never have a plane for myself, I only can see AI planes (with shift+F2) ... what is the problem? what could I do ? I followed the instructions step by step to install DCG and the campaign ... I tried with many different campaigns and I do have always the same problem ...

Hi, very sorry to bother you I have all the IL2 versions but I still love the old DBW and many campaigns for it. I already used DCG years ago on 4.12 and it worked fine Now I am not able to play any DCG campaign (3.47 version) in my DBW modded, but tried in vanilla DBW too, but no way .... So, spent many many hours, I can assure you, to install and generate the campaign (Carrier Operations) but no way to play it ... so I tried to reinstall dcg and then other campaigns (Markus) and I tried also stock dcg campaigns, then I reinstalled a vanilla DBW and again tried again the whole process etc ... I made tens of test and checks etc .. but no way!I am not an expert but in these years I think I have a good know how to install maps, planes, ships etc ... so I do not understand what can be wrong with my DCG installation ...I never have problems with any static campaign or dgen campaign in my modded DBW, but as I wrote I also tried with the vanilla DBW without any success ...The problem with DCG campaigns are always the same: when the mission starts I never can be in my cockpit, I just see the landscape (sometimes beautiful morning landscape with rising sun ...) ... with Shift+F2 I can see all AI planes starting their engines etc, but never my plane, as if my plane does not exist and only AI planes are in the mission.So is there any help to solve that problem ?As I wrote, I already spent so many hours to try to make it working ... I am "desperate" ...Well, not so desperate, I can live without it ... but, really, I would appreciate to play it ...any help would be very very appreciatedthank you for your time
