I did manage to choose the squadron ingame with a 3rd party campaign, but only by selecting "Replace Career Generator (DGen)". Is there a way to select the squadron via the app interface, without replacing the career generator?

As said in the title. I get thrown in the first available squadron and didn't find how to choose the squadron in the first place. I can only choose which service I'm in. It probably has an obvious answer, but I'm not finding it. Thanks for your time!
