Correct, I am using the replacement for NGEN and then selecting the Campaign option in IL-2 under Multiplayer. I have tried both the Japan 1945 and Hawaii/Pearl Harbor maps. After switching the "Spawn" option to YES, no American forces are generated. If the planes are not flyable, is it possible to change that for the campaign? edit: i found how to make the planes flyable in the aircraft class setting and still can't generate Americans in some of pacfic maps.

Hello! This might be a silly question, but my friend and I are brand new to DCG and the IL-2 series. We want to get into the Pacific Theater as the US factions, but we've noticed that every time we select one of the Pacific Theater maps, it's locked to the Axis side/Japanese. For example, maps like Hawaii/Pearl Harbor, Japan 1945, and Pacific 1942/1944 are all restricted to Axis powers only. We don’t see any option to join as Americans. Meanwhile, in the Pilot Career mode, you can play on those maps with automatic mission generation. Are we doing something wrong in DCG, or is this just how it's set up for multiplayer?
