Hello all! I'm relatively new to Il-2 and really new to DCG. I am loving how much DCG enhances the game and makes for more interesting and compelling campaigns. Thanks Paul! I'm playing through an RAF fighter pilot grand campaign. Right now I'm in the Battle of Britain. The winning conditions for both sides are capturing a specific airfield - but I don't see how it would be possible! There are no tanks for either side and despite the Luftwaffe seriously kicking my butt the Germans never land any troops near my bases and British troops never land near the airfield (so far). I do see the front lines move but it doesnt seem to be based on any visible ground conflict (which makes sense as the BOB was almost entirely an air war). Does the airpower of one side or the other need to be completely reduced before troops land? Is there a way to 'capture' airfields without ground troops?
Is there a file somewhere that lists winning conditions, next map in the campaign, or allows their modifications?
Any help or resources people can point me towards would be great! Thank you again to everyone who's put work into this, it really adds to the game.
