  1. Playing beta 10, Russian manchuria Campaign. Everything works great so far. I was wondering if it would be possible to include a hidden landing target for when the option "Primary Targets" is on? It would reward the player for landing his crate. PS: Excellent work on the DCG so far, keep it up. A wonderful program! EDIT: I played a mission today in Manchuria Campaign. For some reason the ground attack mission pointed me to my own vehicles. After I shot two of them, I realised I shot friendlies, but got a mission complete for this!? Also, the Japanese are based only in the upper left corner of the map. I expected they would be in the lower right considering the geography and the fact Russia invaded Manchuko from land... Any thoughts?
  2. Strange. Could be a mod conflict if you have any mods. I am not an expert though, so I hope someone else can help. i know I used the squadron panel in my Okinawa RN Campaign. You can try to start this campaign and see if you can select a carrier in the SP. If only for debugging purposes.
  3. You can use the squadron panel to put yourself on carrier as a temporary fix. Just generate a new mission after that. You only need to do this once at the beggining of the campaign.
  4. Using VF-3 as squadron works on Coral Sea map. However, if I try to start a US Navy or a Royal Navy Campaign at Okinawa (with RN I can only choose two squadrons and none of them work to get me started on a carrier) then I doesn't work. Strange.
  5. No, not above the carrier, it says I am based at "Townsville airfield" which is I understand in Australia!? That's an off map airfield then. I start mid air and the waypoints guide me over the target and then off the map. This is the Okinawa campaign, but other pacific maps I tested were the same (airstarts). Then I used the squadron panel and set myself to be based onboard one of the carriers and the campaign continued normally from there. I'm using SAS ModAct 5.3 but I tried to disable all the mods and the result was same, eg. unwanted airstart. I don't see how modact would be causing this, but if you think it is, then the problem lies with my modded game. It's not a big problem since it can be corrected with the squadron panel, but I wonder what's causing these airstarts? Am I missing something? What settings do I normally have to choose to start a campaign on a carrier? The rest of the DCG works nicely except for a few minor quirks that I will mention in another post when I finish my current campaign. Thanks for your help in advance.
  6. Hello there. Enjoying the DCG, and currently testing the 3.48b8. I noticed whatever I do I cannot start any of the pacific campaigns on a carrier. Whatever setting I choose I always have to set myself onto a carrier via the squadron editor, or else I get airstarts. Am I doing something wrong or is this a bug, or deliberately so? Thanks
