Question: is the DCG aircraft range an aircraft's max combat radius (base to target (max range) and back to base) or max range (from base (max range) to next base)?

I know this is an old 1 - but to clarify, Base to Target is Combat Radius - correct?

 

I am using sniperton's tool to tweak all the aircraft in my installation (I have designated 985 aircraft as combat active in my CUP installation).

Yes and no.  The game uses combat radius both as the maximum range a target can be from the squadron's base AND the distance a target can be from the active front location.
