  1. hello, so I began to test new version of generator :-) 1. "clean" beta 1 gives "no message file found" (I read your note, but just in case...) 2. 3.47 overcopy- earlier started campaign run ok. seems allocation of diffrent AI skills in squadrons is now more correct. but I did't too much as I decided to begin new game with smoller maps (this was Singapore). 3. new campaign- starting leningrad 41 with finnish hawk 75a3 as active crashed the game, and in the long run after some tests I lost all my saved campaignes after one of crashes, both dcg as linear and dgen. seems that you did't add new crafts in the game??? :-( noone is working. and by the way, is there any way to make japanese not to jump with chute? in the start of the war this look not good...
  2. And as usually half of all pilots have a #3 skill, at 6th mission, and with squadron settings of Rookie. But bombers left skill 0, even after squadron settings are Average, and my own squadron is mostly zero all the time. Wonderful! I thought at least something was changed with new version. I’m tired of such amount of aces in the battle. Any fight turns into massacre, whole flights perish in one day, every day. This is absolutely unhistorical. I don’t know how to tune this damned generator. :-[

  5. sorry I bring up the subject again, but I will talk about how AI level generates in DCG. I played a lot of campaigns, with diffrent squadron skill settings- result is absolutely crude. as I understand it, reasoning from books i read, in real WW2, typical ratio of pilot skill is something like: most abundant- Average, next- Veteran, next- Rookie, least often - Ace. O.K. and what we have today? campagn- tobruk 41. all squadrons are averige. typical mission. [RAF_No486SQN00] Planes 4 Skill0 3 Skill1 3 Skill2 3 Skill3 0 [iI_JG310] Planes 4 Skill0 3 Skill1 3 Skill2 3 Skill3 1 [RAF_No081SQN11] Planes 4 Skill0 3 Skill1 0 Skill2 3 Skill3 3 and so on. O.K. but may be if we set them to Rookie, all will be fine? well, let's see all squadrons are Rookie, after some missions passed with intense fights and heavy looses. I only wish to create a realistic mission in a realistic cavpaign. PLEASE DO SOMETHING WITH IT!
  6. Couldn't you make ground-attack aircrafts (like Tempest) have sometimes fighter mission? It seems they have now only strafe mission, but they were universal. And couldn't you make that pilots assigned to mission were random? I fly for the tenth consecutive time, and there are the same, but rest of squadron never sees sky. :-)
  7. one more thing. my flight got a task to intercept enemy il2. we flew to the point of meet, circled there some time, and returned to home. after about ten minutes, the target flight scrambled into air and so on. I dont know a bag it or not, but...
  8. lads, sorry I dont know was these discussed before but: -in 3.46 when my flight on escort mission, if they meet anemy fighters, they did their rout twice: after fight returns to the base and flight the rout again. it often occurs to bingo fuel. when they flight a strafe mission and meet the same, they returns to the base without the strafe. - the plane crash-landed on its "belly", counts as damaged beyond repair. but it losing significance to land it so hardly and dangerous, it is easier to bail out immediately. may be it must be corrected somehow. - you do add some new historical squads, yeah? :-) - when will we see your marvellous programme? we are looking forward to!
  9. Hello lads! Your campaign generator is very cool. I really like it. But may be you can do some improvements? 1. in the beginning of war, a radio on soviet planes was made on cartoon basement so during flight, It dampen very quickly and there was continuous noise in the headphones. So russians pilots just turned radio off, and in fact they flew without it, or the radio had only flight leader. It was during begin of 1942. 2. during american’s north africa operation like “torch”, they used f4f4 wildcat (from aircraft carrier), and more earlier british used one of its variants -“martlet”( i dont know exactly, is it equals f4f3?) . 3. the main thing: when you play campaign, sometimes you are dead or captured. Today if it happened, you are to replay the mission you were killed, and score are zeroed. Playing the same mission again (and sometimes again and again) is not very nice, and you know sometimes this last fight happens to be very great (for example, I was captured, but my AI wingman shot down a lot of enemies). So would you like to make something like this: after dead of capturing, the gamer can anyway continue the next mission in campaign, with all stats reset, like instead of dead pilot came new one, and war is go on. I hope I wrote it accessibly, because I’ not very good in English.
