vonofterdingen
When DCG generated a mission from the primary .mis file, how does it use the objects in the NStationary and Buildings sections? does it copy over all objects or is it selective in some way? I think it is the latter, in which case I was wondering what criteria is uses to choose.
Fhechene
Hey there. It copies them all, and checks wether an object is destroyed or not. [House] is imposible to get. The Il-2 engine is buggy since Maddox times, in that regard
vonofterdingen
I was trying to add C&C Dynamic Weather and blank field plates (for those maps that used to use Zuti's friction mod) and those items do not transfer from the base mis file to subsequent missions. Is there a way to make that happen?
Fhechene
NStationary or Buildings? Buildings may have issues, now that I think of it, because the log file records their destruction the same way as it records stock map objects. wheelsup_cavu
vonofterdingen
The Dynamic Weather object is a static vehicle, such as: 440_Static vehicles.stationary.CandC$DynamicWeatherUnit 0 152049.99 98117.30 360.00 0.0 The smoothing plates are Buildings: 6807_bld Plate$BlankFieldPlate 1 171966.13 467338.59 575.00 What does the destruction have to do with whether an obect gets carried into the mission? Presumably nothing would be "destroyed" in the base campaign mission. At any rate neither of these make it into the DCG missions for the campaign. Same goes for other C and C objects like flak bursts.
