I have been flying the IL-2 Box series and not much else lately. I fire up 1946 once in awhile but none of my squadron mates are interested in it any longer. I used to live in the FMB in 1946 but even that has fallen by the wayside. I tried to find a way to like it but I despise the FMB in the BoX series. Wheels

I have seen the first couple of seasons of the Reacher series on Amazon Prime starring Alan Ritchson so now I am going to start giving the books a read. It's likely not in order of publish date but a friend loaned it to me so I started with In Too Deep. Wheels

I watched all 4 episodes of the 4 part docuseries Tyson (IMDb link) on Netflix a couple of days ago. If you have followed Mike's career over the years this documentary series doesn't really cover much new ground. I personally enjoyed watching the series just to see Mike but don't expect any hidden or up until now unknown revelations about his life or career. One final note, Love him or hate Mike after he went professional and ended up retiring boxing has never been as exciting as it was during his ascension to the title in his early career. He definitely did seem invincible during that rise. Imo, you had to witness his career as it happened because archival film and interviews just does not do the buzz a fight of his generated during that era justice. Wheels

I just finished binge watching Best Medicine (imdb link) on Netflix yesterday. I enjoyed the series and got hooked into the storylines of each character. For me the first season was a 7/10 stars. The series which originally aired on Fox TV in early January 2026 has been renewed for a second season and according to IMDb the first and second episode of season 2 will be airing on Fox on Tuesday September 22, 2026. It has been several years since the heyday of Hyperlobby and Jiri announced recently that he will be closing the Hyberlobby forums. The game server has already been disabled. I can tell from your screenshot that is the incorrect game. Those are the IL-2 Sturmovik Great Battles executable files. The DCG program is for IL-2 1946. Wheels

After flying WW2 birds those WW1 kites are so blamed slow. Most of them are quite fragile too if you dive too fast. Plus my gunnery is bad enough in the WW2 birds but in those WW1 kites I can't even hit the ground consistently. 🙃 Wheels

Considering they talked Mark Hamill into playing the Major I will likely go see it in the theater even though I do not believe it will live up to the book itself. I was watching The Born Losers last night on Prime and I noticed a familiar face that I was not expecting. The tough cop in The Born Losers (1967) was the same actor, Jack Starrett, that played the tough cop 15 years later in the Stallone movie First Blood (1982). I suspect Stallone knew this when he was cast in his movie. Wheels
