Gentlemen, Thank you for all the Help. Ludwig - I'm sure everything will be TOTALLY F-ed up and you'll have to go through this all over again. (SARC on). Yes, the mouse was unchecked for War Thunder. For IL2, everything was turned off, running administrator, etc. No Joy. Snaggle, I completely agree. The 3rd party set-up is a huge step in the wrong direction. However, I have several games, (Cossacks 3, Space Hulk Deathwing, etc), which run from Steam and are perfectly fine. I think I'll ask for a refund for IL2 and go over to Steam to see if their download will get me in the Air again. I did some work on the Scourge of War series. Those games are huge, but the download is solid, you get the whole thing on your computer, and voila! There you go. Game on. Hope to see you in the skies, BFRUSA (Jack O'Neill)

Also, question - did Ludwig ever get his kit straightened out and get in the Air?

LIp, Have tried W and S keys, several button combinations on my joystick base, + and - keys, Shift and Control keys, made all changes the FAQs say to, etc. Throttle keys only work with a mouse and keyboard, and I can't fly using a mouse. Beyond truly annoying. Going to head over to Mission for Today and see if they have any answers. BFRUSA (Jack O'Neill)

Thanks, Klaiber. No Joy with anything. Running my 5th attempt at this. Deleted update folder, etc. Ludwig and I are in the same boat. I have no idea what the Dev guys did to F this up but damn. Have 3 tickets in now with Support. No Joy there either.....so far. On a different note, tried to get War Thunder to run but had trouble with that. Good thing it was free to try. Got everything running but no throttle control no matter what I tried. Gave up and uninstalled it. Grrr.... That's why I came back to IL-2. Figured it would work. Bloody Hell BFRUSA (Jack O'Neill)

Brothers, (and maybe Sisters), Even though this thread is a year+ old, I think it will be helpful to me. Am having the worst time getting Great Battles installed. Gonna try deleting the update folder and see what happens. Haven't heard back from Support yet. Have 2 tickets in but nothing yet. Flew with the Grenhards Squadron back in the old 1946 days.
