[For all guests - disable the Microsoft Store (either temporarily or permanently). This is the best possible fix. - @Klaiber] . . . Alright, I think I might have found a solution to the problem that some of us are having with CH Products Control Manager after the Windows 10 update. The issue that I myself was having was that after downloading a profile to the stick, the buttons that allowed me to switch between direct mode, mapped mode and off mode would grey out, and the stick would become unresponsive. Sometimes this was resolved after numerous reboots, but then only until the next profile download. Using the instructions found here I've been able to suc…

Hi all, I got into VR only a few weeks ago. I've upgraded my GPU to an RX 9070 XT 16GB and then even upgrades the rest of the PC to a Ryzen 9800X3D and 64GB DDR5-6000 (4 DIMMs downclocked to 5600MT/sec). I still am having issues with frame timing with anything more than a small single player mission. On Flyboy's training or Syria servers, I average 20FPS in VR and I have everything pretty much set to low. Can we compare eachother's performance by specifying what hardware and settings we're using? FWIW, I get pretty good framerates on a 1440p monitor and high settings. CPU: 9800X3D RAM: 64GB DDR5-5600 …

After an update to my Meta Quest 2, the link to the PC kept breaking. The headset would freeze, while the PC display still worked. Others were outlining the same issue here: https://communityforums.atmeta.com/discussions/link-v207-troubleshooting/the-latest-updates-have-rendered-meta-quest-pc-link-completely-unusable-/1381668 For anyone struggling with this, here is the fix: https://communityforums.atmeta.com/discussions/link-v207-troubleshooting/the-latest-updates-have-rendered-meta-quest-pc-link-completely-unusable-/1381668/replies/1381703 Not all GPUs support H.265, though. You need a GPU that supports AV1 video encoding.

I had the following error when I tried to load DCS the other day. Traced it using AI, which fixed it. Here is ChatGPT summary: If DCS shows this error: DCS.exe - Bad Image ...\DCS World\bin-mt\CockpitBase.dll ... Error status 0xc0e90002 the DLL is usually not damaged. Windows Smart App Control is blocking it under its Code Integrity policy. A DCS repair may not fix it because the repaired DLL is still considered untrusted by that Windows policy. Fix: Open Windows Security. Go to App & browser control. Select Smart App Control settings. Set Smart App Control to Off. Restart Windows and launch DCS. This d…

This manual by AeriaGloria is somewhat technical and a bit difficult to understand but it does explain some of the nuances of the sensor modes. https://forum.dcs.world/topic/387794-flight-manual-changes/#findComment-5775176

Was having a lot of issues lately with my performance so I did some checking using Claude AI and it came up with this, which I used and it seems to be working a lot better so far. I also attached the pdf version of this. DCS VR Performance Optimization Guide For High-End Systems with Pimax VR 1. ParkControl Setup (Fix Core Parking) Download ParkControl from https://bitsum.com/parkcontrol/ Install and open ParkControl Go to Settings → Experimental Enable "Always Show Bitsum Highest Performance" Return to main screen Select "Bitsum Highest Performance" from the power plan dropdown Verify it shows 32/32 cor…

It has been several years since the heyday of Hyperlobby and Jiri announced recently that he will be closing the Hyberlobby forums. The game server has already been disabled. The last time Jiri updated the Hyperlobby program was four years ago, v4.3.7, and I never got the impression that the update was enough to get Players back into using it. --------------------- For those that still remember their login credentials and want to pass on their thanks or memories to Jiri using Hyperlobby before the final shut down of the site Phantom17 has started a thread at Hyperlobby that fits the bill. Thanks for 25 years: https://hyperfighter.sk/ftopict-10530.ht…

I also run Pimax at 120hz and set DCS frame rate limit at 120hz. I was using Pimax's quadviews but got terrible stuttering. MBucchia's seem…

o7 Afternoon Gents, Anyone interested in getting a force feedback stick that’s relatively inexpensive. MOZA just released their AB6 base and MHG Flightstick. It’s a 6 NM FFB base for a relatively inexpensive $399 USD. I just picked one up to replace my ancient MSFFB2 Stick. Learn more about it here https://mozaracing.com/products/ab6-bundle or watch a review here von Freden

Hello, Hope everyone is doing well! I have a problem that I can't manage to find a solution for. When I fly the Mirage F1EE, the throttle will always keep resetting to a fixed position which makes it absolutely impossible to fly. I never had this problem with any of the Warbirds or even the F1CE version. Does anyone have a solution for this? Throttle Problem.mp4

I would have probably opted for the Crystal Light if I had known about this. The battery has been an issue (battery life) with my Crystal Sim. The only downside for the Light version is the lack of eye tracking which makes quite a difference for me for clarity in the focus area while reducing GPU load using foveated rendering. The Super looks great but quite pricey. The Light looks to be the best replacement for the G2 and doesn't have Zuckerburg in your room. Waiting to see how it compares to Big Screen Beyond. The Light starts at about 8:00

o7 Morning ladies and gents, I came across this video today which detailed how a bug in Nvidia’s drivers are nerfing Intel+Nvidia systems a substantial amount. If you’re interested into squeezing a little more out of your Intel+Nvidia rigs. I’ll leave the video here. I hope it helps someone out! Edit : Reading in the comments, it looks as if people running AMD CPU’s are suffering from the same problem and getting substantial boosts after the fix as well! o7 Regards, von Freden

I've looked around and I feel the answer will be no for both or a crappy work around that I don't want to deal with. First question. IL2 I swapped out my Thrustmaster Warthog throttle for the Viper Throttle. The way the detent works in the Warthog throttle never gave me a reason to look into throttle curves. I was hoping I could set up the curves so that after the detent would be emergency power. It seems that the throttle curves don't save to each profile. Am I doing something wrong? My options off the top off my head would be spread sheet of each aircraft and just adjust the curves before I take off. The other is fly a quick fly off line at sea level…

Something I just found out. DCS has a key binding "off state" in its bindings menu Example: the MiG 21's "landing gear", up/neutral/down on a 2 button momentary switch If you set "Gears up" to button x, then set "Gears Handle Neutral" to same "Gears up" button x in "off state" the release of button x (gears up) the "gears handle neutral" will activate and neutralize the gear. 1 button 2 functions. Drop tanks release would be an other example. press to open the safety cover, release and the tanks drop.

Some of you know that I've been totally frustrated with IL2 controls not working properly. I've been messaging back and forth with tech support about this and was about to give up. The D7F Altitude throttle, mixture control, and water radiators just would not respond to any control inputs at all, even though the controls were recognized in the settings. I couldn't even get it to recognize the keyboard commands. Well, I got in to LAX this afternoon and found out Hawg is on a different trip here (he got in early this morning) so we went to dinner. As I was explaining this to him, he suggested I look to see if my Engine Management controls are set to easy/automatic. So …
