Snaggle
Does any one have a trick using obs to record DCS in VR where the recording doesn't turn out narrowed? Example: Don't work about the resolution, just an example Britchot
Britchot
I crop my top and bottom and allow small bars left and right: https://clips.twitch.tv/ImpossibleRockyGrouseMingLee-QriudazaHRHD7stT Snaggle
Snaggle
@Britchot do you crop post production? When you say crop top and bottom are you cutting some off then zooming? Oh if this is twitch it is live, so you are changing setting in obs?

Nope, it’s cropped live from the Oculus Mirror. On 9/12/2022 at 11:53 AM, Snaggle said: When you say crop top and bottom are you cutting some off then zooming? Exactly. It’s a little bit more off the bottom than the top, I used trial and error until it looked about my line of sight. It is live. I have a 4k monitor on my game PC with one half of it showing the Oculus Mirror. On my Stream PC, I capture the whole monitor using a capture card and crop it down to the view you see. Therefore, it’s over 1080p even though it’s less than half of the captured screen. This allows it to be somewhat clear on the stream. Also, there’s a little bit of sharpening by filter in OBS, but not much. Snaggle
