My IL-2 and RoF problems

I think this was caused by teamspeak and my headset...

Update on this

 

Now, it would make sense that this is a CPU overload issue which causes stuttering, but no other games do this. SO I think its a combination of my audio, CPU, and teamspeak.

Yeah, I don't know Fox.  Since I'm not familiar with Win8, I'm kind of flying blind.

 

My advice would be to make sure that all of your sound drivers are up to date.  I would also see if there are any tweaks you can use with Win 8 to optimize performance.

 

And I would see if there is someone local who can look at the computer with you.  What you and that person could do in an afternoon would take us forever via chat.

Ok, did more windows updates.

 

I was in a channel with Zzell and Wurger, they didnt talk much but I was on RoF with NO problems.

IL-2 launches again, now trying to see if its fine there.

OK: with Zzell and Wurger talking every so often it worked fine even in IL-2. I don't even know..

So got an hour until problems arose.

Still sucks, but I am not complaining as I doubt I will have hour long sorties unless its CLoD which I won't play until next year most likely.

 

But over ten people in teamspeak probably wasn't helping.

Wednesday night is usually FIF, but with the tournament in-between campaigns, there will probably only be a test on the channel map using the potential plane-sets.  Nothing official.
