Awesome!  So glad they have the 389th Fighter Squadron!  My grandfather was attached to that squadron, from before D-Day to the end of the war.

Thanks, very cool.  I like the US concept of cartoonish.  I had to laugh at the 511th, being a vulture     so  appropriate.

 

I have to  say I like the German concept of being not only cartoonish, but sort of art-deco ('20's era)?  Case in point, Klaiber's insignia (I love it).  Regardless, I think the Germans always had a better idea of what would be discernible in the air, and I like their sense of humor over detail.
