  1. Cool, I will post it up on the 42 Forums.
  2. I agree that we should stick to the stated rules for this campaign. It wouldn't be fair to change the rules at the last minute. I kind of feel bad for the European contingent especially since they are very enthusiastic and committed. Perhaps we could announce a last mission just for the fun of it on Saturday?
  3. Hey guys I was mulling over the way this campagin ended and I have a suggestion for our follow on events. The current rules states; Victory Conditions: The first team to end a campaign phase (i.e. a set of 8 to 12 sessions) with 64 or more completed objectives is declared victorious. If neither team is able to end a campaign phase with more than 64 completed objectives, the phase will continue until a clear winner can be determined. Should both teams end a campaign phase with more than 64 completed objectives, the team with the higher total will be declared the winner. Should both teams end a campaign phase in a tie, additional sessions will be held until this tie is broken, and a clear winner can be determined. I would suggest that now that we have a mission shedule that is in two phases (Wednesday and Saturday) we take that into consideration and modify the win condition to something similar to baseball. By this I mean we keep the first team to 64 however in the event that one team achieves this on a Wednesday i.e. the top of an inning. The Saturday crew would still be afforded the opportunity to fly to allow for the possibility of the second team to still pull off a tie or a victory. The condition being that they would have to end the session with points equal or greater than the team that started in the lead. Thoughts?
  4. Thanks to all that made this possible it was a great series! There was some discussion as to whether or not we will be having a mission on Saturday?
  5. We forgot to create a new session for mission 2 so it was parsed under mission 1 but the name of the map says "Mission 2" or some such so you can still see what happened on each sortie.
  6. They were all collaborators!!
  7. Speaking for myself, I don't see a problem with inviting freelancers as long as we have some idea who they are and that they will follow the rules. I would like to think that at some point we might consider opening this up to the entire RoF community, similar to Bloody April.
  8. I forgot how much fun these campaigns are! I am sure I speak for everyone that participated in saying that I want to thank Stubby and Butzzell and everyone else that had a hand in this, for all the excellent work they did to get FIF flying again. The map seemed to work flawlessly and the ratio of people to map size was just about perfect. How do you guys feel the team balance was? I didn't look at the outset but toward the middle it seemed as though the allies had about a 2 to 1 advantage. I would hate for this to be the case going forward. If this is the case what options do we have to balance the sides? Recruit more folks? Split JG5? Something else? -Hawg
  9. I'll be flying Entente No.42_Hawg RAF No.42 Squadron thanks
  10. That was an awesome tourney guys. Well conceived and very balanced. I think we had an advantage finding targets on that last one. I would not have wanted to find and hit those tanks. You guys have some very talented pilots and I am sure I speak for the whole 42 Squad when I say I am looking forward to the next match-up. S! -Hawg
