Klaiber Posted January 14 Report Posted January 14 What do you think of Sea Power? I've been watching Enimga's videos on it. It seems really cool. It honestly reminds me a lot of Harpoon II, which I played a lot in the 1990s. Quote
Razwald Posted January 14 Report Posted January 14 I like it. The scenarios so far are fun and the ones that are difficult are not frustratingly difficult. It's more of a learning curve for the difficult ones. It is bare bones and it's mostly mid 70's US and Russian assets. More assets are planned from other countries not sure which countries but I thought I had seen the UK somewhere. I also saw they will broaden the time period for more than just the 70's but can not tell you what the range will be. All I've seen was 60's to the 80's. They plan on a dynamic campaign but not sure how far out it is. That is what I'm looking forward to. However with the scenarios I've played, a mission builder, and community missions there is a lot to offer at its current state. Also this early access game has more to offer than some of the finished games I've regretted buying recently. Snaggle and Klaiber 1 1 Quote
Snaggle Posted January 14 Author Report Posted January 14 DITTO to @Razwald has said. A ton of stuff already in the steam workshop for this game. I played Harpoon hate to say in the 80's also. Direct competition with Seapower but I love the era Seapower is in. I had a SPI game called 6th Fleet in this same era, so this really hits all the bells and whistles for me. Klaiber Posted January 15 Report Posted January 15 I've definitely been considering getting it. I could use a game like it to unwind. Snaggle 1 Quote
