Stuka Posted January 28, 2014 Report Posted January 28, 2014 S! Awesome!!! Still with mouth open... I have no words to describe it, the project itself and the way they found to disclose it. Quote
Klaiber Posted January 28, 2014 Author Report Posted January 28, 2014 I've been aware of Augmented Reality (AR) for a while now. But this is the first time I've seen someone try to use it for computer gaming. Reminds me a lot of holochess from Star Wars. Very cool stuff! Also, I loved the table-top D&D example. So cool. Quote
Butzzell Posted January 28, 2014 Report Posted January 28, 2014 S! This is a completely different type of VR technology than simply a mere display unit. While it looks good for gaming, I think there will be hidden limitations for several years. The design and research applications, especially in the fields of manufacturing and chemistry are much more exciting and easier to accomplish even at this stage. Quote
