Due to the current hotfix issues with ROF Version 1.033b, the FIF Admins have decided to postpone FIF XIX Mission #3, which was scheduled to be run on Wednesday, August 27th.

 

We're hoping to restart the tournament after a week.  But this is dependent upon 777, and their ability to patch the game.

 

To my knowledge, there are currently two major problems which are necessitating this temporary cease fire:

 

The first is the Spin bug, which makes spin recovery impossible : http://riseofflight.com/Forum/viewtopic.php?f=353&t=43880

 

The second is the Head Position / Snap View bug, which for people without TrackIR or Free-Track is extremely debilitating: http://riseofflight.com/Forum/viewtopic.php?f=49&t=43865

 

Should anyone have more information on the game issues, or a specific questions regarding FIF, please post below.

While I'm bummed, as someone who does not use TrackIR, I thank the admin for making this delay.

Since FIF won't be happening Wed is anyone up for COD or Ghost Skies training? Are there any 42s or other Entente who fly COD on the Allied side?

To follow up on Vonrd's post - while we wait for ROF, a bunch of us in JG1 are going to test out Cliffs of Dover with Team Fusion mods tonight.
