Bardamu
Thx Klaiber. Any must-read post for starters? Do I just need to connect to the server on the scheduled date and time?
Klaiber
Hi Bardamu, The big thing is making sure you have your team's TS information. This can be found in your team's discussion area. Server passwords are passed out via TS, about a half hour before mission times. Mission orders are also posted in your team's area, with the missions themselves run on Wednesdays and Saturdays. If you're interested in reading, all of the tournament information can be found here: http://forum.jg1.org/forum/73-fif-tournament-information/ Let me know if you had any specific questions. I'd be more than happy to help!
Bardamu
Thx Klaiber, that was all I needed. I'll check out the link. I don't own a gamer headset right now, but maybe using TS through my webcam mic would do the trick.
Klaiber
As long as you have a microphone, you should be all set.
Vonrd
As long as you have a microphone, you should be all set. If you have high ambient noise around your PC (a vocal cat for instance ) please use a push to talk button.

Shnoze Shmon
If you have high ambient noise around your PC (a vocal cat for instance ) please use a push to talk button. Really! Everyone should use push to talk! There are always unintended broadcasts when you don't.
