Klaiber Posted July 13, 2018 Report Posted July 13, 2018 Awesome work, Geezer. I love your drawings. Quote
Klaiber Posted August 10, 2018 Report Posted August 10, 2018 As always, a great addition. I really love the chapter images, btw. Especially this weeks. The airship poster is really cool. Quote
WWGeezer Posted August 11, 2018 Author Report Posted August 11, 2018 The artist is Julius Klinger from Austria. His work is amazing, here are some more https://www.theviennasecession.com/gallery/klinger-julius/ Klaiber 1 Quote
Klaiber Posted August 12, 2018 Report Posted August 12, 2018 I love that type of commercial art. It's beautifully done. Quote
-Hawkeye- Posted August 13, 2018 Report Posted August 13, 2018 Still reading every episode Geezer; my thanks! Quote
WWGeezer Posted August 17, 2018 Author Report Posted August 17, 2018 Dear Mr. Hunter..... An open letter from Unteroffizier Gerhardt Rupp to Jack Hunter. http://www.thebluemaxproject.org/new-blog/2018/8/16/dear-mr-hunter Snaggle and Klaiber 2 Quote
-Hawkeye- Posted August 17, 2018 Report Posted August 17, 2018 Very interesting turn of events. It also lead me to have a look at the Jack Hunter section to learn more. Thanks! Quote

Klaiber Posted August 24, 2018 Report Posted August 24, 2018 I really love the map you've created in Chapter 18. Amazing work. Especially how you can see the Fokker D.VII and ground troops through the clouds. It's a very nice touch. Snaggle 1 Quote
WWGeezer Posted August 25, 2018 Author Report Posted August 25, 2018 Thanks Klaiber. Was trying to play around with showing depth so you felt like you were in the clouds. I also like using photoshop to do just a little more than you could realistically do with a simple sketch. Hovering closer to a graphic novel than a simulation of a journal. WWGeezer Posted October 19, 2018 Author Report Posted October 19, 2018 Next Chapter Up...check out the cool map! Snaggle and Klaiber 2 Quote
-Hawkeye- Posted October 19, 2018 Report Posted October 19, 2018 The balloons along the front are angled up; nice, realistic touch. Not even the ones in the game do that. The airplanes and zeppelins in the air lend a perspective that emulates looking down from high above. The channel section shows the war that was going on there, too. The train line shows the distances from the ports and town along the coast, which turned out to be further than expected. Outstanding work, Geezer! Snaggle 1 Quote

WWGeezer Posted October 20, 2018 Author Report Posted October 20, 2018 Thanks guys....Here are the two maps that inspired the one I made. Basically took the format of the first one, but curved it to get the 3d view of the second, than had fun with all the objects. Was trying to show the bigger sandbox of the state of the war at the time that Rupp is recovering. Klaiber and -Hawkeye- 2 Quote
