One more time! I just posted the Fokker D.VIIF, if this thread is becoming too long or I need to post else where please let me know. I think the last planes I will complete will be the Fokker D.VIII and SE5a. These will take sometime to complete as I am trying to think up something simple, but not too bland. Maybe the Nieuport 17 if I can think up something. The other aircraft, Alb and Halb D.II I like in their factory skins. As well as I will be using the Kempf Alb D.III and Dr.1 skins already made.

I'll throw a hand in as well if needed, depends on how complicated the job I suppose too. Give a shout this way if you need me!

Has it been set in stone if the E.III and S16 won't be in the plane list? I do like my lawn mower!

Thanks Vonrd! I'll definitely try your "chipping" style. I like putting the hours into these skins. Still learning the tolerance with the black background. I was painting the Albatross D.Va and noticed that one of the Jasta 43 planes had been painted with large green stripes. I opened it in Photoshop and it looked like they just applied an overlay even on the black. I then ran and tried that and sure enough the mipmaps were ruined and the skin was broken. So the Albatross D.Va is definitely going to take a little longer. I am working on putting an edelweiss on the fuselage and it keeps getting clipped. So I'll continue to rework it until I get it right. Also could you guys give me your best educated guess on the color of the band? I'm guessing it's either red or blue, however looking at the other Albatross D.Va and D.III of Kempf's it might be black. Actually this brings me to another topic, are any of you guys good at judging the colors of these black and white photos? In Rise of Flight, the Albatross D.III for Fritz Kempf for example is black with the white stripe. Which what I imaged, however I have now been seeing a few photos suggesting red. I remember reading long ago that reds and blues can be mistaken fro black, and that black tends to look lighter in these old photos. You guys have any thoughts on this?

Always reminds me of the first time I listened to them with my dad. A Christmas night, tree light in the corner, and the whole family enjoying the fire. My dad opens a vinyl, and by this time my brother and myself are devoted to studying WW1 aviation. I also like their cover of "Lil Red Ridding Hood" and "Liberty Valence".

How many of you have heard of the band Iron Mask? They are from Belgium and are always writing songs about history. Kind of like Iced Earth, if you have heard of them. Well in 2010 they made a song called "Shadow of the Red Baron". Very good, to me it's better then Iced Earth's "Red Baron/Blue Max". It is a power metal/neoclassical metal if you are looking for a genre to class them under. So if you think you will enjoy a little double pedal drumming go ahead and give this a view. It's loud so, be sure to lower your speakers a bit! This will probably be my last Rise of Flight video for a very long time, I just can't see to figure anymore ways to spice up a dogfight now. S! Barton, curious why a 240GB SSD? Have you heard anything bad as far as the 1tb? I just ordered a GTX 980 ti, can't wait to power that up! My next area for upgrade will be a larger SSD, so I am curious, also are you running the SSD solely for operating system? Has anyone place ROF on a SSD and noticed any better performance then a HDD? I was again toying with the idea of having a third drive on my PC, strictly for RoF

Hello Gentlemen, I have been working up short films with multiple games, but most of all RoF. I am always looking for critiques and things to approve upon. All of my videos so far have been from online battles, so skins wont always be on or just be in the wrong theater. I would record against AI, but they only split S until they are on the deck. Not very interesting stuff. So here is my latest creation, dedicated to France's Jean Navarre. Is there anything else that you'd like us to know?: Being in South Korea definitly puts me at a disadvantage for any tournaments. I can understand if that makes me a poor choice as a recruit. However for casual play I enjoy working as a team. I seek out for new tactics and most off all I love to fly bombers and two seaters. However when I fly a scout or fighter I am always excited to fly in groups and work as a team.
