I didn't update when I saw the post of the new problems and don't plan on it, so I'll be waiting until they fix the game. Too bad there's no way of undoing an update and reverting back to the last version.

Thanks Wilke, but I think the problem is a corruption somewhere within the game's files.

There seems to be major disconnect with the control files in my game. Even with the default settings all I have for controls are throttle, stick and rudder. Looks like a total re-install is in the offing.

Sorry Butzzell, good try, but, you didn't dig me. I know how the curves work for the axis of movement, but we're talking the radiator control response on the Fokker D 7. Unless you're telling me the radiator control is found in the same panel as the joystick repsonse curves. Last night I just couldn't get the radiator to open so my engine siezed up before I left the ground. I don't have any trouble with the radiator controls in the Alb. 2 buttons on my stick, one to open and the second to close. I'll be on TS tonight, but I'll also be frustrating myself with this mystery so if you talk to me, beware. JK.

Also, anyone have a link on the definitions of the camera and head movement functions in the setup screen?

I've been having a problem with the 7 ever since I've returned to ROF. Several patches have come since I've been able to mount the canvas steeds of yesteryear. Before I lost connection I didn't have any problems flying the 7, now, I can't get the radiator to function. I've tried to re- assign the commands to my keyboard thinking that my joystick was crapping out on me. But that didn't work, so I'm left thinking they changed the name of the function of radiator on this particular a/c. What I have happening is, soon after start up I get a virtual face full of oil, anyone have a clue to pass on to the clueless?

Should I sign up anywhere?

Been trying to get CoD up and running, I think i have it as good as can be expected for now. Question, which option turns off the mouse when not in legacy mode (the noninteractive choice)? When it's in panning mode it can interfer with my track ir, that's when I'd like it disabled. Thanks.

Yep that was it. Just an FYI, Mission for Today's links for most of the patches are dead ends. The 4.09 in international form is hard to find, File front has only the RU, as far as I could see anyway. In the end I D/Led 4.09 from SimHQ, slow, but it's the international version. Kind of peaves me off that UbiSoft doesn't have them archieved. Much time spent a searching.

The 4.10 patch contains all the previous patches, right? My IL2 1946 disc is the 4.07 version.

I was over at the Ultra pack forum and found another unfortunate soul having the same problem. I remembered something about the last time I loaded up the mod and had this problem. Spies had me send him the whole directory via TS and he compared my files with his, after which he had me delete a file I had in my directory which he appartently didn't. I thought it was an SDS file, but I didn't find one in my new install. OH yeah, I downloaded the mod again and still have the problem.

Yes, yes I do. But perhaps I'll just use the one I have from the WW 2 side of the sqn. To keep it simple.

I have noticed that when enabling the mod via the mod enabler it takes only a split second, this can't be right. I'm going to try to D/L it again.

I can't get it to load past 5% before I CTD. I had this problem the first time I tried to start it after loading it on my laptop but can't remember the remedy. Anyone?

All the plugs in their proper female connectors and all software D/Led. COD is a stuttering mess, but i don't think I'm the Lone Ranger in that regard. I've made an attempt to get IL2 back up to it's JG1 state, but I screwed up somewhere. Will give it another try after I do something unique, Read the Read me.

I second Avast, I've been using it for a few years now and never a problem with it. Norton is such a PIA.

I am now ready to resume flight ops with JG1, computer all together and all needed things installed.
