good evening. my in game name is angrygoat my squadron jasta 10 preferably would like to fly for central but not afraid of the allied machines. I'm in eastern standard time

good evening jg1. I play rise of flight with jasta 10 and got a taste of ww2 birds with war thunder... but no one plays war thunder and I only like playing it in simulation battle mode. I know there's IL2 and DCS that the squadron flies. both have like a million different eras and battle packs that you can buy. I just wanna make sure if I'm buying one, I'm not stuck with a crappy map and a little put put aircraft. what's the most widely used out of the 2 or best bang for buck? thanks in advance. happy hunting SALUTE!!! I know a lot of people use response curves on the fokker dr1, but are they necessary? I've been flying the dr1 with stock settings since day 1. I just wanna know the pros and cons(if any) to adjusting the response curves. I'm stuck between taming the beast or manipulating the beast' s controls into domestication. Downloaded Tyne historical skin packs(except for about 4 of them wouldn't load). When I went to download the fictional, I got a message saying access denied. Anyone run into this issue before? I'll try again tomorrow. Also Klai started taking about personalized markings but didn't get to deep into it because we were signing off for the night.
