Salute Jagdgeschwader 1, I'm Finally done with my house renovations, wedding, and honeymoon. so I'm Looking to get back in the air with you guys! The only thing holding me back from doing so is my teamspeak. It Must've Done an update a little while back and now im having issues with my press-to-play. I've always had it hotkeyed to my thrustmaster HOTAS but now it's not recognizing. it works if I hotkey it to the keyboard or the mouse and it also works with the Voice Activation and the Continuous modes. Normally i'd Say Screw it and Just use it with the keyboard... but with VR it requires to much effort to find the moue OR keyboard while flying. I've tried unplugging and plugging in my Thrustmaster Controls to see if the computer could pickit up being reconnected... but no such luck. I hope for a speedy resolution t o this because I miss flying with my wingmen and would prefer to NOT be just another Lone Wolf. is the 4k what makes the bare metal p47's shine so much? I think that's the only reason why I'd want to do 4k. other than that I've just been having an awesome time going paint crazy in 2k! personalizing a plane gives the game a whole new dimension.

hey guys so I've been doing a lot of work to our house lately. so I spuraticly get to fly at weird times so I've seldomly been on teamspeak. but I have been playing with skinning! been using a lot of 2k templates. was wondering how much more in depth does it get in order to paint on 4k? or am I overthinking it?

thanks you guys. i'm gonna download the GIMP tonight and i'll try my hand at some custom paint schemes. once I do get a hang of the paint brush... who do I send them to in order to make it jg1 official? klaiber? or vonrd I know you did my dr1 skin(still in love with that beautiful beast). should I send them to I? I mean it's a little ways down the road. I still need to perfect so no rush on a response.

I'm having issues with extracting historical skins and functional skins for ROF. i got a new computer and am trying to reload everything onto it. i had no problems with the FC skins! does anyone have a good link for ROF? or is there a mod I have to download first? its been so long since the last time i installed them. it just comes up with a "access denied" message after extracting. thanks for the help. see you in the skies(hopefully looking very colorful)!!!

salute all I just got a new computer and oculus rift. but while reloading ROF and FC, I noticed il2 is doing a March madness sale. So I was thinking about expanding into ww2 aviation. would like to know which Battle I should get? I love the p47 and p40.so I definitely want to have those bad boys in the version I buy. do they have any corsairs?

I think it's time to retire the old laptop. I was planning for around 2 or 3k. either fully built or a custom build if I knew what to look for. plus i figure with a whole new setup, I'd be more inclined to expand my horizon of flight sims.

Vonrd I couldn't be happier flying around in my dr1. I agree with Hotlead that there's nothing like slipping into an aircraft that screams your own... and with all of us sitting on the flight line with our personalized skins, we truly are a flying circus of murderous beauty

hey everyone. I got some tech questions. my little laptop I converted into my gaming system needs a serious upgrade! flying circus is beautiful but no matter how low I set my graphics setting... I get major lag on the multiplayer servers. especially on maps with a lot of water. so i'm looking to go all out and go for a complete VR setup. I got a nice little chunk of money set aside and after Klaiber was saying how amazing everything looked in VR, it had me thinking. unfortunately my tech savvy knowledge only deals with combustion engines and on board diagnostics in automobiles. so I need help trying to figure out the best setup I can get. i don't wanna end up with a subpar setup. so if anyone who has a VR setup would be able to steer me in the right direction, it'd be greatly appreciated and would get me back into the air in FC. I've always wanted to do flight sims in VR and I think it's finally time for me to take the leap. thanks for the help in advance. hope to hear everyone's way in soon

hahaha definitely tested the ceiling of the dr1 that night. thankfully was able to glide my poor bird down to the trenches with 2 and a half wings left after I got caught being dragged and bagged by the good ol 103
