TARGETS/OBJECTIVES:

TARGETS/OBJECTIVES:

  • Factory - 1 point per 25% damaged
  • Prototype - 4 points
  • Convoy - 2 points
  • Train - 2 points
  • Encampment - 1 point per 25% damage
  • Spy - 2 points
  • Prison Rescue - 2 points

REGARDING BAILOUTS:

  • Pilots may bail out and use their parachute if the in-game year is on or after 27 June 1918.
  • A bailed-out pilot may only “Finish Flight” in a parachute after reaching the ground.
  • If the mission’s in-game year is before 27 June 1918, the pilot is considered dead the second they leave the aircraft.
  • An accidental bailout while the aircraft is on the ground is considered a disconnect, and Disco rules should be followed.

Factory:

The Area target is organized randomly into 9 Sections of mission editor "object group's". Destroy 50% of a group, destroys that group. Destroy 50% of the "Group's" with-in a section, destroys that "Section". (indicated by a medium smoke) Each Section is 12% of the total. Counted at 25% intervals for points, and seen on the in-game map. ( Sections can contain,  power bags and/or ammo crate's, explosive destruction power) A few "objects" may not be part of any Section. Section are the same for Red and Blue, but their arrangement are different.

Prototype:

Land the mission aircraft at the mission objective airfield marked "Steal Prototype", to activate the prototype spawn. The airfield is protected by several machine guns. It is important to have destroyed (or at least suppressed) these guns. Keep in mind that, if only suppressed, the gunners will re man their guns after a short period and will likely damage / destroy the Prototype or pilot as soon as it is spawned. There will NOT be a text message saying when it is ready to be spawned. "Steal" (spawn into) the prototype aircraft and return it to your indicated "Land Prototype" airfield. It MUST be returned to that airfield.

 

Land, taxi near the hangers, (engine off not required). Again, there will be no text message. You must "End mission" for the objective points to be counted. The points for each side are noted in the upper right corner of the map. This mission is worth 4 points.

Convoy:

A convoy is made up of 8 cargo trucks and 2 AAA vehicles. Destroy 5 of the 8 cargo trucks for the points.------ Active Supply columns are indicated on the map by an "as the crow flies" black line, designating its start and end points only. Supply columns are "on-road" , but choose their own roads to their destination. The convoy's start and destination points could change from week to week. The time it spawns is random and could be at any time within the mission.

Trains:

 Trains have random starts and routes, and are not indicated on the map.

Encampment:

The Area target is organized randomly into 9 Sections of mission editor "object group's". Destroy 50% of a group, destroys that group. Destroy 50% of the "Group's" with-in a section, destroys that "Section". (indicated by a medium smoke) Each Section is 12% of the total. Counted at 25% intervals for points, and seen on the in-game map. (Certain Sections will destroy easier than others, dependent on their make up. IE ammo crates, power bags) Note: Hospital tents (Red cross's) have no value towards the objective.  Sections are the same for Red and blue, but their arrangement are different.

Spy Rescue:

When you enter into the Icon'd area,  the Spy will fire off a series of green flares alerting you to his presence. He will then drive to a near-by airfield to wait extraction by the mission aircraft. The enemy has deployed 2 squads of 5 infantry to eliminate the spy. If not destroyed before landing, there is a significant possibility of them damaging the Rescue plane and / or pilot. Land, retrieve the spy, (two sequential messages on-screen).

Fly back to your home base. Upon landing at your home base, and taxi near the hangers and come to a stop (engine off not required). After a few moments you should get a message indicating the Spy has been retrieved.

Prison Rescue:

To break the prisoner from the prison, you need to bomb the Headquarters building, the barrier and its gatehouse.

When this is completed, the truck will drive out and head to a near-by airfield. You must land at this airfield, wait for the on-screen message that the prisoner has been picked up, (two sequential messages) then fly back to your home base.

Upon landing at your home base, and taxiing near the Hangers. (engine off not required) after a few moments you should get a message indicating "The prisoner has been rescued".

 

Balloons:

Are not point objectives, but destruction will reduce the area's Flak by 30%,. Pending a "clear" airspace, of approx 12km, after the balloons destruction.
