EvA Posted December 14, 2025 Report Posted December 14, 2025 Hi!! I have recently renewed my passion for WW2 simulators after many years I have IL 2 1946 with BAT mod and (of course DCG mod) installed with updated list of flyable planes. Yet I struggle with a particular desire I have. Could please someone advise me if: 1) if I create a campaign in DCG (for example Lvov41), after I finish this particular "map" (campaign) does DCG automatically link another operation? (For example siege at Kiev, Moscov 41 etc), or does this career ends after the one campaign I chose? 2) if I pick grand campaign included with DCG (for example Eastern front fighter pilot), can I edit this campaign so it includes larger selection of planes to fly - aforementioned bf110 for start? What I want basically is one career with one pilot from 1941 till 1945, to start in bf110 and continue the war (getting better planes, mono engine fighters later). And I dont know how to make this happen. Thank you for your help , I didn't find any answers for it yet here. Klaiber 1 Quote
Klaiber Posted December 14, 2025 Report Posted December 14, 2025 Hi @EvA, I’ve moved this to the DCG section so @Lowengrin will see it. Quote
EvA Posted December 14, 2025 Author Report Posted December 14, 2025 I am sorry if I put it into a wrong section. Thank you Klaiber 1 Quote

You can link all campaigns into the grancampaign file , when one end , the next in order by victory condition 'll start....you have to know how to do it , so you have to learn how to do this.... Search online and in IL2 1946 related sites for tutorials... I can suggest an older but still very informative tutorial about DCG and how it works created by Tailspin: https://www.mediafire.com/download/huplrffmqz0ooxt/dcg_campaign_info_v321.zip Quote

Yes, if you select one starting campaign, DCG will link to the next "logical" one based on which side wins. So if the Germans capture all the Lvov map, your campaign will advance to Moscow. And, you should be able to fly a Bf110 from the start (either by selecting it at the outset, or running DCG and switching it in for your player squadron). Quote
