Re-enlistment Theatre Requirments?

Hello All,

I'm thinking of switching from DCS to IL2 and rejoining.

What are the recommendations for Il2 versions to acquire that will make me current. I would prefer to focus on current and future missions rather than download the lot if that makes sense. Korea is due and very interested in that.

I fly DCS and IL2 WW1 Flying Circus. I recommend all 4 of the FC modules especially when they come on sale but at least the first 2 to get started. Someone else will have to speak to WW2 modules.

Hi Klaiber. Good to see you still at the helm. As usual, exploring sims. Getting bored with DCS for lack of theatre content. I got IL2 Normandy up and running in VR (needs work) and Tobii eye tracker. Bonus - I activated CLOD in VR.  A hoot. 15 years or more have passed. I see that VR is better in CLOD than IL2. Go Figure. Are you guys going to jump into Korea?     Cheers

Before totally giving up on DCS you should try it with us sometime. I’ve got a really cool mission event setup just starting to promote. We will be doing a practice on it tomorrow night at 2100 ET

Hi Flyboy, thanks for the invite. I see your info and notice it is coldwar using Syria map. Just need clarification of planeset and Server not showing up in list. Only active at specific times?   Thanks  Cats . . .

Check the post link above for the plane set. I’ll be adding the F-100 since it’s out now. 
 

My server is usually active anytime and most of the time it has the training map up. I don’t think I have a password now but if there is it is usually jg1.
