Once my son gets old enough I'll break back into that hobby, but right now I'm balancing what I have to the best of my ability. I flew a little back with my grandfather eons ago.

What type did you fly? Glow, gas, electric? I'm a sparky person myself. Allows me to make my parents pay my fuel bill.

Used to be majorly into it but haven't flown for a decade... sorry.

You should get back into it!

I built an electric Cub that never flew, I got it from my grandfather when I lived in the same town with the intent to have his help building it but my parents moved several states away. I got up to coating the wings and fuselage and couldn't get the hang of it with my mother's iron so it came out quite wrinkled.

 

My grandfather flew glow engines and I later (around 22) raced glow RC street cars for a bit.

R/C flying is throwing your plane into the ground until it flies.

 

I've pretty much done that to my PZ Extra 300. lol. Gear rips off clean every landing now.
